Rocky Point’s 29 RV sites include 18 with full hookups, 10 with water and electric and one with no hookups. Five primitive campsites are reserved for tent camping. Other amenities include a general store, boat dock, restrooms, showers, coin-operated laundry facilities and a fish-cleaning station.

Those desiring a nice campground close to one of the main routes of Interstate 5 I-5 or Highway have some options. It’s worth noting, however, that the California-Oregon border region has wildlife galore, including bears, so heed advisories. California State Parks Campgrounds Dogs are allowed in California State Parks campgrounds, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet and in a tent or enclosed vehicle at night. Pets are not permitted in park buildings, on trails, or on most beaches. Angeles National Forest Campgrounds Campsites are first come, first served with a maximum day stay at a site, and a total of 30 days stay per year in this Forest.
The Angeles National Forest offer group campgrounds on all three of the ranger districts, some accommodating up to campers. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the campgrounds and on the trails. Recreational Vehicles no longer than 30 feet.
